This course provides an introduction to the foundational books of the Old Testament, covering Genesis through 2 Samuel. Students will explore creation, covenant, the history of Israel, and the development of God’s relationship with His people. Emphasis is placed on understanding key themes, major figures, and how these early writings establish the framework for biblical faith and ministry.
Building on Survey I, this course continues through the remaining Old Testament books, including the writings of the prophets and wisdom literature. Students will examine Israel’s kings, exile, restoration, and prophetic messages, gaining insight into God’s justice, mercy, and redemptive plan. This course highlights how the Old Testament points toward fulfillment and prepares the way for the New Testament.
This course offers a comprehensive overview of the New Testament, focusing on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, the early Church, and the teachings of the apostles. Students will study the Gospels, Acts, the Epistles, and Revelation, gaining a deeper understanding of salvation, discipleship, and the spread of the Gospel. Emphasis is placed on applying New Testament principles to effective ministry and daily living.
This course is designed for aspiring ministers who desire to grow in both spiritual depth and effective ministry.
